Our Charitable Contributions

Every act of generosity, big or small, has the power to change lives. We believe that all blessings come from God, and we are committed to giving back to our community.

“We are BLESSED to be a BLESSING to others!”

World Vision

This 2024, we are taking our commitment to giving back to a global level. We’ve partnered with World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

Through World Vision’s child sponsorship program, we’ve made a commitment to support two children in Africa. This means we’ll be helping provide access to essentials like clean water, nutritious food, healthcare, and education, giving them a chance at a brighter future.

World Vision is a trusted organization with over 70 years of experience in community development. They work in nearly 100 countries, bringing hope and lasting change to vulnerable children and families. We are proud to partner with them in this meaningful endeavor.

Charitable Outreach In The Philippines

It is important for us to be engaged and relevant to the community that we are located in.
Our VAs who live in the Philippines have organized Charity Outreach Programs that focuses on helping underprivileged  kids, pre-teens, and families in their community.

MALAYA: Freedom to improve lives

Each year, we dedicate a portion of our profits to support communities in need.

This year, we have combined the unused funds from the past two challenging COVID years with our 2023 contributions to construct a brand new home for a deserving family in the Philippines.

Thanks to the exceptional efforts of one of our VA, we conducted an anonymous application process and carefully selected a family of four to be the recipients of this home.

In a remarkable twist of fate, it turns out that the husband’s first name is FREEDOM! It was truly unexpected and amazing to discover this coincidence after we had chosen the family. We firmly believe that there are no coincidences with God’s plans, and it reinforces our faith in this meaningful endeavor.

The Freedom Project | JCA Freedom Homes

The pandemic didn’t stop us from sharing the love this Christmas 2020. Last December 12, 2020, VA Aileen, in partnership with a local church, went to a remote barangay in Sariaya, Quezon (a southern province in the Philippines) to give Noche Buena packs to kids and their families.

Malaya (a small scale charitable institution) gave Christmas packs to kids and their families.

For the 2019 Christmas season, JCA Freedom Homes in partnership with Malaya, hosted 2 charitable giving.

As early as November 23, 2019, VA Aileen, together with her church friends, invited kids from the less fortunate barangay in her home town for an early Christmas fun and gift giving.  Songs were sung, games were played, and everyone had a great time.

A second Christmas charitable giving was done December 8, 2019 at St. Martin de Porres.  St. Martin de Porres is a home for abandoned, homeless, or mistreated boys in Aileen’s home town.  Hosting this event is a big way to give back the blessings JCA Freedom Homes had with a goal of bringing joy to these children.

WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT

Since 2022, we’ve been proud supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), an incredible organization dedicated to honoring and empowering wounded veterans. WWP provides vital programs and services for those who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001.

These brave men and women have sacrificed so much for our country, and it’s our privilege to help them transition back to civilian life and thrive in their communities. WWP offers a wide range of support, including mental health care, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care.

MISSION ARLINGTON

Christina Spence with Tillie Burgin, the founder of Mission Arlington

Our approach begins with the conviction that every life is important to God and therefore important to us. We support Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex because helping begins simply with the needs of each person.

Matthew 25:40 –
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me;”

The American Dream Story of Tillie Burgin

As believers, we care about people having a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. We are so pleased to help meet the needs people have – providing solutions for our Sellers in hope of improving their lives and housing situations. We care for and serve people at their point of need, in the best way we know how, and we treat everyone with dignity and respect.  Because Mission Arlington shares many of our core values, we are avid supporters with donations and items that find a home in the lives of others.
